Aremacs is a non-profit association created in 2004, which aims to limit the environmental impacts of social, cultural and sporting events. Aware of the importance of being proactive in local networks, Aremacs now has 4 branches allowing it to intervene in Rhône Alpes, PACA, Pays de la Loire and the South West and to create citizen dynamics on these territories.

In 2014, thanks to the support of communities, organizers and its volunteers, 180 events from 500 people to 80,000 were covered by the association. Thus, more than 1 million people have been sensitized and 100 tons of waste have been collected and recycled.

More than 40 years ago, Action contre la Faim was created with the main objective of fighting hunger in the world. Today, it is a major player in the fight against undernutrition. However, hunger is still a scourge: nearly 811 million people in the world suffer from it. Because the causes of hunger are multiple, Action Against Hunger intervenes in the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergency situations. This approach translates into 7 areas of expertise:

  • Nutrition and health
  • Water, sanitation and hygiene
  • Food and livelihood security
  • Mental health, care practices, gender and protection
  • Risk and disaster management
