What’s League of Legends?
League of Legends (or LoL) is a competitive game, in which two teams of five players compete to destroy the enemy Nexus located in the heart of the opponent’s base.
In order to destroy this Nexus, you must first destroy at least one of the three inhibitors. To reach an inhibitor the players must progress on one of the three lanes (Top lane, Mid lane, Bot lane) by destroying the turrets located on them.
In a game, players play as characters called champions, each with unique powers. There are currently over 150 different champions. During a League of Legends game, champions gain experience points to level up and increase the power of their spells. They also collect gold coins to purchase equipment and increase their performance.
To gain an advantage over your opponent, you need to master your champion and demonstrate technique, reflexes, strategy, vision and teamwork. Although League of Legends is a complex and elitist game, it offers spectators spectacular battles and fast-paced games.
